Penniless and indebted to two demanding producers, the struggling young playwright William Shakespeare is tormented by writer’s block…until he meets the beautiful Viola, daughter of a wealthy merchant. Her fiery passion for poetry and drama leaves her secretly longing to be an actor. Viola becomes Will’s muse. Secretly, she disguises herself as a man to become a player in the acting company. Will and Viola’s love blossoms and releases his writer’s block to inspire Romeo and Juliet. But, will this story end in tragedy or a blissful union?
