Australian Chamber Orchestra

In the Australian Chamber Orchestra all the players except the cellists stand, all concert long—they’re full of energy and ready to take on anything. The afternoon’s offerings, played on period instruments will include the U.S. premiere of Samuel Adams’s Concerto Grosso; Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major, K313 with Paul Lewis, piano; and Brahms’ Sextet in G Major, op. 36, arranged for string orchestra.
