PNB and Seattle Opera Present a Concert for Ukraine

Tonight, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and Seattle Opera are joining together to present Unity, a concert benefit for Ukrainian artists.

The one-hour performance will feature music from Der RosenkavalierSwan Lake, Prokofiev’s Romeo and JulietThe Tender Land, and the Ukrainian folk tradition. The performance will take place at McCaw Hall in Seattle. This is a give-what-you-can event for audiences with a $10 minimum. 100% of these proceeds will be donated to the Pegaz Cultural Association.

Pegaz Cultural Association works closely with Poznań Opera House in Poland and other local agencies which are focused on hosting artist residencies. They provide food, rehearsal space, housing, and performance opportunities for Ukrainian artists that have taken refuge in Poland.
