Silent Movie Mondays: Ella Cinders

Ella Cinders (1926) stars Colleen Moore with Lloyd Hughes in a classic Cinderella story set in Hollywood. The film is directed by Alfred E. Green. In 2013, the film was placed on the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress due to its cultural and aesthetic importance. Christian Elliott plays the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ with the post-screening CineClub hosted by Joseph Yranski, film historian and former Director of the Film Library for New York Public Library. He will also conduct a pre-film presentation on the films of Colleen Moore.
