Silent Movie Mondays: Body and Soul

Body and Soul (1925) was written, produced and directed by Oscar Micheaux and stars Paul Robeson in his first film role. Robeson plays twin brothers, one a badly behaved minister and the other an ordinary working man, both vying for the affection of a young woman who is trying to abide by the misguided wishes of her devout mother.
Musical accompaniment by Tedde Gibson on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
