Allison Loggins-Hull is a composer, flutist and producer whose work spans symphonic music, film scores, and chamber and electronic music as well as accompanying major pop acts like Lizzo and Frank Ocean. Her groundbreaking duo Flutronix was formed in 2008 with acclaimed musician Nathalie Joachim. This season, Loggins-Hull completes her tenure as The Cleveland Orchestra’s Lewis Composer Fellow. Her music is resonant with current social and political themes, encompassing motherhood, Blackness and cultural identity. For this intimate program, Loggins-Hull is joined by members of the Seattle Symphony performing works from her catalog of Afrofuturist compositions and a remix of her Flute Rhapsody (Seattle Symphony co-commission).
