Then Brittany Breeden’s quartet of friends explores unique Americana drawn from the Deep South. In At The Octoroon Balls, Wynton Marsalis was inspired by creole musical traditions, translated for string quartet: fiddle reels, hoe downs, jug stomps and marching bands.
