Pacific Northwest Ballet
One Thousand Pieces
Updated March 11, 2020: In light of Washington Governor Jay Inslee’s press conference regarding health and safety efforts around the COVID-19 pandemic, Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Artistic Director Peter Boal and Executive Director Ellen Walker have announced that the organization is cancelling its upcoming performances of One Thousand Pieces.
The rapidly-expanding Seattle fan base for Alejandro Cerrudo (Little mortal jump, Silent Ghost) eagerly anticipates Pacific Northwest Ballet’s premiere of One Thousand Pieces, a large-scale ensemble work inspired by artist Marc Chagall. The double bill also includes David Dawson’s powerfully athletic Empire Noir, set against a massive, curving sculpture.
