Pacific Northwest Ballet’s new staging of The Nutcracker is about to hit the stage at McCaw Hall. It’s a bold departure from the previous iteration. Go behind the scenes here and here. With all this excitement, however, there are risks in putting on a new show. KUOW recently discussed it.

The Seattle Symphony is offering a free-stream of a recent recording in response to the recent violence in Paris and Beirut.

Seattle Rep‘s Come from Away continues to get glowing reviews. The Rep is looking ahead though to their holiday show, Unwrapped, starring Jinkx Monsoon and Major Scales, interviewed here.
