The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

October 13–23
Tacoma Armory

Journey to a time-bending, darkly comic world between heaven and hell in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot to reexamine the plight and fate of the New Testament’s greatest villain, a traitor to Jesus, who betrayed his Lord for 30 pieces of silver. This poignant, thought-provoking, and hilarious play boasts a large, zany cast of characters and asks one of the most plaguing questions in the Christian ideology: What happened to Judas Iscariot?

Set in a courtroom in Purgatory, the infamous case is brought to a jury to determine if Judas Iscariot is guilty of the accused betrayal. Whether Judas enters heaven or burns in hell rests upon the witness testimony of saints and sinners including Satan, Pontius Pilate, Mother Teresa and Sigmund Freud.
