Canadian baritone Joshua Hopkins is one of opera’s brightest rising stars, having made his San Francisco Opera debut in the 2018–19 season. In this deeply personal program, he performs a new song cycle composed by Jake Heggie with poetry by Margaret Atwood.

Hopkins’ performance builds a powerful elegy honoring the love and memory of his sister and the many other women killed by random and domestic violence.
