Yekwon Sunwoo is “a pianist who commands a comprehensive technical arsenal that allows him to thunder without breaking a sweat” (Chicago Tribune). Sunwoo makes his Seattle Symphony debut with Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2, which begins with a plaintive solo piano that melodically and gradually unfolds into a full-scale orchestral frenzy. Come as you are and enjoy the best of classical music in the relaxed atmosphere of the Untuxed series.
