Nielsen, Beethoven & More

June 15
Benaroya Hall

Seattle Symphony

This event has been canceled.

Beethoven’s “Harp” String Quartet earned its nickname from the distinctive plucked arpeggiation in its first movement. Nielsen composed the lighthearted Serenata in vano on about a week’s notice for a regional tour with members of the Danish Royal Orchestra. From timeless themes to contemporary classics, watch the talented musicians of the Seattle Symphony take center stage to perform an exquisite assortment of chamber works in the intimate Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall.
