In the Spotlight: Trimpin, Stiefel & Hausmann

April 2, 2019
Benaroya Hall

Seattle Symphony musicians bring the works of three Seattle-based composers to life. Former Seattle Symphony Composer in Residence and a master sound sculpture, Trimpin is most known for creating sound installations at intersection of music and visual art. Andrew Stiefel’s Five Ways to Listen to a Mockingbird transforms the mockingbird’s stolen song into a series of meditations on our changing cities and landscapes. To conclude the evening, you’ll experience two lush and charming duos by Seattle Symphony Associate Principal Oboe Ben Hausmann.

Featuring Seattle Symphony musicians and guests.
