Double Feature: Bride of Frankenstein and Young Frankenstein

October 24, 2024
Benaroya Hall

Mel Brooks

“She’s alive! She’s alive!” Come to Benaroya Hall for a good ol’ fashioned double feature. First revel in the spooky 1935 classic Bride of Frankenstein starring Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester, projected in all its glory onto the big screen as the Seattle Symphony performs the genius original score by Franz Waxman. For our second feature, the orchestra takes a break as we screen Mel Brooks’ 1974 comedy classic, Young Frankenstein, with an all-star cast including Gene Wilder and Teri Garr.

Bride of Frankenstein is not rated by the MPAA, and contains some sequences of violence and frightening images.

Young Frankenstein is rated PG, and contains some sequences of violence and strong language.
