Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 3

January 31–February 2, 2019
Benaroya Hall

Benjamin Ealovega

Pianist Jonathan Biss asked Caroline Shaw, the multi-talented composer and performer, to compose this concerto as a response to Beethoven, an endeavor that calls for a healthy balance of sanctity and whimsy.
