A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Updated March 9, 2020: In compliance with Mayor Breed’s order, all performances of San Francisco Ballet’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 15 will not be taking place.
Enter Shakespeare’s enchanted forest of magic, whimsy, mistaken identity and jest–where fairies rule and love triumphs.
SF Ballet last performed this timeless Balanchine masterpiece over 30 seasons ago; this revival features radiant costume and scenery designs by Martin Pakledinaz (SF Ballet Nutcracker and Don Quixote) and a lush score by Mendelssohn. A joyful ballet for all to enjoy!
