An octet made up of some of the top instrumentalists in jazz, the SFJAZZ Collective debuts a new lineup this year. Mixing interpretations of a major musical figure with their own compositions each season, this year they pay tribute to the genius of Joni Mitchell alongside new music by the group’s members, with a return guest visit from soulful vocalist Lizz Wright.
