Bach, Dance, and a Podcast Journey through the Goldberg Variations

Join us for a discussion with Lowry Yankwich, ’16, creator of the 30 Bach podcast, and two of his interviewees, pianist Simone Dinnerstein and dancer Melissa Toogood as they discuss the making of 30 Bach, and one collaboration featured within it. 30 Bach reconstructs J.S. Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” through performances and interviews with musicians whose lives the piece has touched. Dinnerstein and Toogood will share excerpts from their work with choreographer Pam Tanowitz, transforming the Goldbergs into a work for contemporary dance.
