Nobuyuki Tsujii Plays Rachmaninov

Dvořák’s optimistic Carnival Overture was written shortly before leaving for his infamous travels in the U.S. Martinů’s deeply personal Sixth Symphony originated in New York, while in exile from Czechoslovakia. The Second Piano Concerto of Rachmaninov unfolds with a sense of drama and romance in the hands of Nobuyuki Tsujii, “the definition of virtuosity” (The Observer).
