This event has been canceled.

Guest conductor Olari Elts takes the podium for an evening of astonishing music. The tragic tale of the puppet Pétrouchka is brought to life through Stravinsky’s scintillating score—a musical portrait of love and longing, full of vibrant colors and playful melodies. Pianist Behzod Abduraimov joins for Bartók’s Third Piano Concerto, a vital work that keeps pianist, orchestra and audience on their toes with its invigorating energy and irregular rhythms. Plus, hear Beethoven’s dramatic Coriolan Overture and a new work inspired by it: Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Phantasma.
