Updated on March 17, 2020: Due to the evolving public health concerns, the remainder of Seattle Rep’s 2019/20 season has been cancelled. The safety and well-being of our community is our first priority and we strongly support all measures to protect the health of our patrons, artists, and staff.

Jack Worthing is in a bit of a pickle. As a baby, he was abandoned in a train station, and now, in order to marry his beloved Gwendolen, he must prove his lineage to her eagle-eyed mother, Lady Bracknell. To make matters worse, Jack has been known to the entire town—and Gwendolen—as “Ernest” in his desire to lead an exciting double-life, and Gwendolen’s about to get the shock of her life. This uproarious classic comedy of manners is full of mistaken identities, perambulators and voraciously eaten muffins and will have you in stitches faster than you can say “Bunbury!”
