Othello

Othello, a Moorish general, has secretly married Desdemona, angering her father Brabantio and former suitor Roderigo. They conspire with the “honest” Iago, who is jealous of fellow soldier Cassio for earning Othello’s favor. Through murderous intrigue Iago encourages Othello’s suspicious nature, pushing him to distrust both Cassio and Desdemona, and leading Othello to the destruction of all he has fought for.
